Jesse

Remembering my father.... This piece is titled Jesse. It is named after my father who taught me about letting go. As a POW in WWII in Germany he understood his survival depended upon letting go of trying to control because he had no control of what would happen. The top red tube, yellow and green tubes represent his love of Chinese food. The green tube also represents his garden--a place where he found peace and join the growing of vegetables and flowers. The yellow, lower pink and purple tubes animate in a depiction of the type of conversations we had--thoughtful, funny, and the sharing of ideas. The background is made of washers and represent the elements he used to repair broom making equipment and build things for his garden.
